With extensive experience helping organizations incorporate market and industry risks into business decisions, Andrea is uniquely positioned to bring a holistic perspective to country and industry research, climate-related risks, and strategic planning.
Andrea spent over 12 years at Export Development Canada supporting Canadian exporters and investors grow internationally. As a Principal Economist, Andrea developed expertise in country and industry due diligence, and a became a go-to expert advising EDC and its clients on the risks of doing business in emerging markets and industries such as agriculture, infrastructure, energy and mining. As a Senior Advisor in International Relations, Andrea advanced climate-related analysis and policy, led knowledge sharing initiatives in climate-risk management practices and contributed to international negotiations on climate finance.
Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa and a Master’s in Global Security Studies of Environment and Energy from Johns Hopkins University. Andrea can support clients in English, French and Spanish.
